I *think* this is a driver problem, but I'm not 100% sure! I've been having trouble with connectivity with the wireless network for months, so I took the card out of my brother's old computer, which worked fine on the same network. the "new hardware found wizard" searched the web for drivers, and installed one. (Had to be done using some aol dialup, which I'm forced to use now, because I didn't have..and still don't, have the cable working yet!) at first i thought something was very wrong when "no wireless networks in range" came up.. then silly me, i forgot to screw in the antenna! ha. As soon as i did that, for one glorious moment, its connected! Then disconnected, then connected, disconnected...etc. on and on and on. My brother told me that when he first started using this card (2+ years ago) the same thing happened, and after he searched, he ran into someone who said that the driver it automatically installs doesn't work! And recommended to him a different driver that then worked fine. So, this being a couple years ago.. he does not remember! So.. I was hoping there was some guru out here with some omnicient driver knowledge?

I don't know the brand of the card.. its generic i think?! anyways, here's some info i get from the properties!
connect using: 802.11b Wireless PCI Card
manufacturer: wireless LAN
driver providor: Wireless LAN
driver version: 1.75.115.2003 built by WinDDK
Digital signer: Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher
anyways.. I have no idea if thats enough info for anyone to help me... If anyone can help.. thanks a ton in advance!!
