Goodmans GSC 12 Scanner Xp driver

Does anyone have the drivers for a Goodmans GSC 12 Scanner to work on Xp?
or know any websites that I could find them.

I've spent a good half an hour searching the Internet for you but they don't appear to exist anywhere. You might be best off contacting Goodmans Customer Support and seeing if they did ever make any XP drivers for that scanner. You can email them at goodmans@albaplc.co.uk or phone them (from the UK) on 02392 391000.

These are self extrct rar files I have put up today 01 Jun 2005 and will leave them up for 7 Days then delete them

Hoolet, could I possibly be cheeky, and ask you to put up those self extracting files again (particularly for XP) for a couple of days as I have searched for a couple of weeks to get such a driver. I got the scanner off a mate who seems to have lost the drivers.

Or failing that if someone else could kindly send some to me, that would also be great.

I have had problems with getting my HP ScanJet 3300c to work with Windows XP.

It happens to turn out that the Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) service of windows XP conflicts with my scanner software. This WIA service provides image and scanner wizards and stuff.

So the solution for me, was to disable this WIA service permanently:
Start... [click]
Run... [click]
msconfig [type and hit enter]
Services-TAB [click]
uncheck the box of Windows Image Acquisition [with a click]
OK-button [click]
Restart computer

I think this might work for many other type of scanners.

click start - settings - control panal - add new hardware- browse file open win xp folder-
Click next etc,etc - Thats it your icon will be in control panal - Scanners !! DONE.
