FalseContent Is a beginner here at D-A-L
sound problem

well i just reformatted today and lost everything which is duh.but had to do it anyways.well ok i reinstalled windows xp home edition and did the cd's blah blah but i still have no sound i tried lookin through the cds couldn't find nothing for it and plus my damn icons and text is huge and i tried makin it smaller but it won't slide over and i went into all list and still couldn't make it smaller well i could but made the color look ****ty please if you could help me id love advice i did a pc scan so u can see what i got or whatever

Hi and welcome to D-A-L

did you reinstall with the dell disc or another XP disc, the disc that came with the PC should have all the drivers for your motherboard.
