wireless system cant pick up signals

My LG laptop(Xnote LS50a) was formatted and after the wireless system couldnt pick up signal .i av microsoft window XP Professional version 2002 service pack 2 on the it.it is Intel(R) Pentium(R) M.Processor 1.60GHz.i will very grateful if someone out there can help me.

were the drivers for the wireless card installed?

thanks a lot.i tried searching for the driver but the one found on lg support website in Canada was not compatible.i did install it but it refused to work.Even the LED indicator for the wireless equipment did not come on.Nothing showed that it has a in bulit wireless system.thanks

did you use the disc's that were supplied with the laptop?

i didn't use the disc.i downloaded the driver from the web.i couldn't lay hold on the disc.

is it showing any wireless network?

why was the laptop formatted, was XP reinstalled using a LG disc?

Thanks friend,it isn't showing any wireless network.it was bought second hand and didnt come with the original LG disc. just to ensure it was free of any virus,i formatted immediately it was bought. when this was done,the sound system and wireless system refused to work.i downloaded sound max from www.ca.lgservice.com.it was compartible and the sound has been working since then.But for wireless No

your best bet is maybe emailing LG in Africa or worldwide
