Oh thank you. Well, not sure really. My screen is so distorted at times and the mouse trails. Sometimes I can't read anything at all. Right now it is semi-okay but plz excuse any mistakes as I am typing in the blind right now. This is very aggravating but I am stubborn and want to fix it myself if possible. I have tried all of the troubleshooting etc and have prob made the prob worse. Now help and support doesn't work. Maybe a driver prob...or my moniter. Who knows???

tried trouble- shooting, changin display settings, system restore, upadting driver, uninstalling, re-ibnstalling....mmm. 1st is there any quicker way we can communicate? Id be willing to talk on the phone. Moniter is samsung 151v nd vpr matrix 226R. lAST OKAY A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO OR SO.

A dxdiag log provides us with your system information. From what part you have in your system to the system manufacturer, it contains the information needed to help you fix your problem.

Click Start -> Run and type "dxdiag" without quotes. Push OK
The DirectX Diagnostic Tool will launch
In the lower right hand corner, push the button that says "Save All Information"
Wait while it gathers your system information and exports it to a text file. Save the output file as "DxDiag.txt" to your desktop.
Option 1: Upload the exported file to an upload site
Option 2: Open up the saved file
Copy the text from the first line to where it has the words "Video Accel:" Paste the text here. it should look something like this:

Your problem is your computer is not detecting any graphics device.

You need to ID that device and reinstall the proper drivers.

Do you know if your graphics was on an independent card or was it integrated with the motherboard?

If the former do you remember if it was an ATI or an nVidia device?

If the latter what is the make and model of the computer and or motherboard?

Unfortunately dxdiag is not detecting any of this information.
