missing drivers after reformat
hello again, the problem this time is, i reformatted my brothers computer because he had been hijacked and you could not even get into the computer. because of this i could not run belarc to get a list of everything i needed after i had reformatted. now there are two drivers missing and he cant get online with his wireless connection at his house. i have ran everest and the two drivers that are missing are listed under windows devices. one is a pci device

PCI device is (generally) the modem, though it could be something else. If the modem is not working/setup, you can try these drivers for it;

For future reference, you should always keep a list of the drivers that you have. When you format a hard drive, then re-install an OS, the format will wipe out all existing drivers and install the necassary drivers needed to run the OS. Since I run off of a wireless connection, I think I understand about the wireless. Im assuming that you have a wireless router of somekind. When you purchased the router, you should also recieve a driver for the router otherwise you would have a very hard time installing it :P
Anyways, make sure that you know what drivers you are looking for. If using windows vista, run a drivers update. That wont fix all the drivers, but it will allow you to get the most recent necassary drivers.
Try the wireless driver first, then repost to let us now if you can connect.

thanks for your help, i managed to get the drivers i needed for the video controller and i think the pci device is actually audio because i did a search of the vendor and device id and it turns out it is intel audio. so im gonna hand the comp back to my brother and see if it now works. thanks so much for your help.
i have all my drivers printed out and i know which ones i need if i ever have to reformat, but thanks for the advice.

Hi I have p5gd1-fm/s motherboard. My brother was messing up with it and somehow now I've lost network card.
I've tried to reinstall and/or find the driver on the internet but no success.
Please could you help me with the drivers for this mobo and the lan driver. It will really help me as i am blocked to do any thing with it.
