Smile sound problems

hey i recently wiped my comp got rid of windows xp an installed windows xp pro, since then my sound doesnt work it says that i dont have the drivers installed i click install an tehn it says i dont have the right softwere, i have read a few threads on D.A.L about sound problems an done what people say an it still doesnt work any advice? thanks

Re: sound problems

The best source for audio drivers is the computer manufacturers web site.

If the computer was custom built then go to the motherboard manufacturers web site.

Go to the driver download section and insert your model number. The drivers will be there.

If you are one of the very few people that actually installed a PCI "Sound Card" then you should have the drivers CD for that card or again go to that manufacturers web site.

ok thanks i'll try it an see wat happens i might just buy a new sound card tbh lot more easier
