Motorola RAZR V3m Drivers

I have installed the Motorola Handset USB Driver v3.4.0 and Motorola Phone Tools 5. I am using this on Windows Vista. The only that works is the actual charging feature. When plugged in, the phone beeps every couple of seconds, but the software fails to access anything else. I have checked for updates to the Phone Tools. Please help.
