IBM AFP 3812 driver

I had this printer driver configured on the XP Home SP2 machine with 2GB ram. I used this driver to create overlays for applications on an IBM mainframe. One day I start getting an error telling me that it can not complete the task and to close other applications. IBM suggested to uninstall the printer, download a fresh copy of the driver, and reinstall.

Now, I can't get the driver to even load. The progress bar goes almost all the way to right and then errors out with a message that states. "Operation failed. Can not complete installation."

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
