MTP Device drive intermission problems with LibUSB-Win32 1.10.1 service
Hello DAL,
My MTP Device drive (Creative Zen) is having intermission problems withmy LibUSB-Win32 (1.10.1) service. It causes my MP3 player to act like its charging even though it doesn't. It makes the sound it makes when a USB device is connected. But it won't transfer media It also causes my mp3 player to have a white screen after its diconnected. This may be the cause of the infamous white screen of death. But I don't want to get rid of my LibUSB-Win32 because I use a dualshock3 PS3 controller for my games. I use the six axis driver/LinUSB-Win32/Controlmk.
I have found a fix, if I disable the LinUSB service, then reinstall Zen media center (when you go to install zen media again, if you go to device manager and update the zen driver it will work just long enough for the program to recognize the player so you can finish installing). Also fix the firmware with the "Zen repair tool" from their site. Then it works properly. But my god is it a real pain in the ass to do everytime I want to play a game.
My Zen is the most important piece to my $300 car audio system. Is there anyway around or fix this without buying a new mp3 player or a new controller? I might have the same results if I did, so idk what to do. I don't have the money to expierment. Maybe a different PS3 controller driver that I couldn't find?
