audio setup!
hey i have yamaha sterio speakers that i want to hook up to my pc is there any thing i need ... and could u guys help me go through it step by step

are the speakers powered?
what connection is on the end of the speaker wires?

to connect to the PC you'll need a 3.5mm stereo jack plug fitted to the wires
to plug into the speaker outlet on the machine.

also note that if the speakers are not powered, you will need an amplifier these un-powered speakers are usually the ones with 2 wires you have to plug in rather than a plug
powered speakers plug into the mains or have batteries and a normal 3.5/6.25mm jack such as the one pictured in brain_damage's link.
