Problems with music

Hey all,

Okay so I am trying to make a powerpoint presentation for my friends. I want put music in. Now I can put in music from a cd but i don't want to do that. So i am trying to change the file type of music on a cd to the file type of an mp3. So i can dowload it and it will stay in the program and play without the audio cd in it. If anyone knows how to and could lend a hand that would be great! I'm in a bit of a time crunch so please help ASAP.
