Unfortunately, syncing it with another computer, will make it wipe the ipod.
However, there is a way to get around this, but is only possible if the old computer can be accessed. You can copy the entire itunes folder in "my music" inlcuding the playlist data, and put it in the exact same place on your new computer. That will fool the iPod into thinking its the same playlist/library..
If you can't get those files, then I'm afraid you will have to let iTunes wipe then iPod, and load all of your music on again.
