I looked up how to fix it on activisions website for customer support and it said that other customers were having the... I looked up how to fix it on activisions website for customer support and it said that other customers were having the same problem and that i should try reinstalling the game or updating my driver. After reinstalling the game, the problem was not resolved so i decided to update my driver. I have a radeon x1600/1650 series, and when i updated this via AMD.com, my computer's graphics have really slowed down. The internet won't scroll down quickly (it like, refreshs it every scroll or something) and when i try to play MW2, it says 'directx has encountered an unrecoverable error. click the readme for more info' (something along those lines). and now if i try to play World of Warcraft, a popup comes after start it that says 'failed to find a suitable display device. exiting program.' ive tried re-updating the driver, reinstalling the graphics card, and reinstalling directx and nothing seems to work. anyone have any tips? ]]> PC Games aze_of_heartz http://www.d-a-l.com/help/pc-games/67101-help-please.html steam community not working http://www.d-a-l.com/help/pc-games/66977-steam-community-not-working.html Thu, 29 Oct 2009 21:43:19 GMT hey guy the steam community thingy was not work since the day i had steam .. any how today i tried to turn off my antivirus and try again .. and it worked ..but the problem is that i restarded the pc then closed antivirus again .. and now the steam community is not working again ... i have it... hey guy the steam community thingy was not work since the day i had steam .. any how today i tried to turn off my antivirus and try again .. and it worked ..but the problem is that i restarded the pc then closed antivirus again .. and now the steam community is not working again ... i have it enabled in settings - in game and i have the shortcut set as F12 ...

The game is still running and the sound is still playing but the monitor will shut off saying it's power saving as if I've left the monitor sit for 2 hours. I have checked the power management of the screen saver and that's not the problem. Do you think I need to update my graphics card? It decidedly freezes up, screen goes blank, shuts down, and restarts a few seconds later with the resolution WAY lower than it's supposed to be set at. It's not overheating, I've tried reinstalling windows in case the OS was corrupted, and I KNOW it's not a virus.
