Help in setting up home wireless network

I have set up a home wireless network using a Linksys router (WRT54G). Works great has good range. But I can see that the Security feature is not enabled. I can see how to enable security on the desktop, but how do I set up my WiFi enabled Toshiba laptop so it will still connect to my home wifi network?? I don't know where to find the right place on the laptop to set up the system info.

Thanks.
Barbara

Re: Help in setting up home wireless network

Do you mean WEP?
If you do you should refer to the documentation that came with the router.
Here is a beginners guide.

Re: Help in setting up home wireless network

Yes I mean WEP. The problem I'm having is how to configure the laptop. The router instructions talk about the desktop but not the laptops. I will read through the link you gave and see if it helps.
