Wireless Network Problem

I have a standard PC which is connected to a belkin wireless g router that is in turn connected to the internet and everything seems to work fine i.e. internet and so on. My son has a Laptop which has an integral wireless network card, he can access the internet no problem, but my pc or his laptop are unable to see each other, I have tried to set up a Home network by going through the standard Windows XP Home Network Wizard but still dont seem to be able to share file or see each other when i go to network places on the pc or laptop.
Can anyone help?

Unable to setup Home Network

I cant setup a home network, my main PC is connected to a belkin54g F5D7230-4 wireless router. My laptop has a intergrated wirless network card and can connect to the router and access the internet without any problems, but for some reason when I open my network places there is nothing there. I have tried going through the wireless network and home & office network wizard on my main PC to no avail. I have asked this question before and was sent the link for microsoft broadband networking, gone through there instructions but nothing seems to help. Can any one tell me what maybe wrong.
