Post Wireless or Wired Router/Network?...Please Help

Ive got a Broadband ADSL connection in my house and currently we have a desktop and 2 laptops. With ADSL as you know you cannot connect to the same line using two different modems on 2 different computers. This is how I have been using the connection on the different computers all this time by using a seperate USB ADSL Modem with each computer.

The downside of this is that I cant use/share the connection with the different computers so only one of them can be used at a time.

Recently one of my ADSL Modems have broken down, and I need to buy a replacement.

Heres where I need serious help in making my decision, I could opt for buying simply another ADSL Modem to replace the old one but this would leave me in the same situation as before although would be the cheapest option.

The other options available offcourse are to 1. Buy a Wireless ADSL Router or 2. Buy a Wired ADSL Router.

This is where I am lost as to which option I should take. Please could existing user's of Wireless ADSL Modem Router's tell me how their's has worked so far, because every single one I have looked at on the market seems to have some problem of some sort which many people complain about. Usually its signal/connection dropouts, or No internet connection even with top brands like D-Link and Netgear.

I dont want to jump into wireless if i'm going to get all these problems and unreliability from it. Would a wired ADSL Modem Router be more reliable?, Also, Is it just the cabling I need to connect the computers to the Router that will be additional over if I bought a Wireless option?

Please could experienced users of the WIFI technology tell me of their experiences and what option I should take, also, If the WIFI option is the right one then please could you list the best and most reliable products on the market at the moment.

Thanks in Advance!
