Home Network

Hi I have connected both my computers by a crossover cat 5 cable and set up network IPs on both.
The Local Area Connection icons on both say that both computers are connected.
Why cant I get internet access on my other computer?
What have I still to do?
Please help.
Regards
Baz

If it dont fit...force it. If ya cant force it...get a bigger hammer. If it breaks...it probably needed replacing anyway.

Re: Home Network

have you allowed "others to use this connection" on the master pc you should find that option in the advanced tab in your providers properties

go to "connect to" in the task bar then right click on your service provider then properties

if you need further help get back to me
