wireless network

this is an assignment scenerio, can anyone come up with some possible solutions to the scenerio below;

Joshua has set up a wireless network within the company. He has enabled WEP encryption and set a key and is also setting up MAC address authentication with the wireless access point in accordance with the company’s IT security policy. He is trying to connect his Pocket PC and laptop to the Access Point with little success
• It registers with the access point, but does not send or receive any data. With MAC Authentication turned off, it works fine. The WEP key is correct.

Re: wireless network

On the access point there will be a facility to add trusted MAC addresses. You would simply need to add the MAC address of the pocket pc and laptop in to this area otherwise it will not communicate with the devices.
