Popup Problems

Ok, my problem is this:

whenever I turn on my computer, or try to get on my Instant Messenger account, I get a popup that says "yay". Can somebody please help me? I started getting the popup a few hours after my friend sent me a comment on myspace. I deleted the comment thinking the popup would go away. Well obviously that didn't work. I really need to get back on. There are some urgent, yet private situations I need to know about. I can still access my email tho. Please Please PLEASE help.

pps- I'm not that good with computer words. So don't go all technical on me. Put whatever it is you think will help in a simple form. I'm not a total idiot, I'm just really confused.
