Networking mixed wired and wireless

Hi,

I use to have my xbox (modified) networked directly to my desktop using the map network drive feature of XP (no internet) which I found a tutorial for on the net.

I have just installed broadband internet using a D-Link DSL-G604T wireless adsl router and purchased a laptop with a built in wireless card.

I have managed to set up my desktop with an ethernet cable (no wifi card) and my laptop (wireless) to access the internet.

I now want to network my xbox (modified), desktop (ethernet) and laptop (wifi) to be able to share and transfer files and folders.

Do I need additional hardware/software to do this or is it just a case of setting up a network, if so what do I require and where could I look for instructions on how to do this?

I have searched the net but unable to find anything that relates to the different types of connections I want to set up.

Any help appreciated
Thanks
