Westell 6100 modem power orange
the power is color orange and i search on the internet it said boot in safe mode how to turn it to green?

The power light on your Modem?

This has nothing to do with your computer.

Try resetting the modem. There is a pin hole on the rear that says "Reset".

Unplug it first and hold the pin in for like 10 seconds and try to start it again.

no the power at the Modem is orange that mean the Modem is in safe boot mode not mine pc.
i found it in a guide that pdf in the verizon cd they send to me.

i unplug the power for a day and put it back on it still the same thing then the Reset button it stil teh same thng.

Is this a new problem?

Any power outages or surges?

My first step would be to call Verizon support and see what they have to say.

i got a new modem, it working now but how to stop the fireware upgrade?

Do you mean "Firmware" or "Firewire"?
