System scanning using the link provided (scan.sygate.com)

Hi guys!

I've just performed a quick scan of my system using the link you provided in your Security 247 sticky. It says that, ideally, the results should show BLOCKED; I've noticed that I have several CLOSED and even one OPEN. Should I be worried about this? I have a ZoneAlarm Firewall and a Norton Antivirus 2004 installed, in addition to Ad-Aware and SpyBot among others. I guess my main question is...Is my system basically safe from attack?

Many thanks for your help.

Here are the results of the scan:

Re: System scanning using the link provided (scan.sygate.com)

How do you connect to the net? Through a router? If you are then that will be what is responding to the scan and not Zonealarm. If so I can explain why you are most probably safe in more detail

Hey BigT: No routers here. I have high speed (DSL) and connect through SpeedStream modem (provided by my ISP).
