router access

heres my problem. ive heard that you can only access router setup (198.162.1.1) unless your connected directly to that router, but i used to be able to do it from all computers in my house even the ones on wireless. i did some port forwarding for my xbox live and i made my xbox the dmz. now i can access the router with the computer in my room wich is wireless and not any other computers even the one connected directly to the router how do i change that so they can all access it?

Re: router access

It really does depend on your router the IP address which you use to access it. For example, my router is http://192.168.1.254.

Are you getting any error messages when you try to access router settings from other PCs? The router access address is typically the Default Gateway IP when you take a look at the Support tab in the connection status dialogue box.
