One Computer Disconnects When Another Connects

Hi

I have a NETGEAR super wireless ADSL modem router, and my desktop and my laptop both connect wirelessly with the router.

If the desktop is connected to the internet, and the laptop connects then this causes the desktop to disconnect from the internet.

For a few minutes, the desktop computer remains disconnected from the internet but after a while it does reconnect. It should not disconnect at all though.

When the latop is connected to the internet, and the desktop connects this does not cause the laptop to disconnect from the internet.

I would like a solution to this problem I am having with my wireless network.
