Network problem

I have two windows XP Home systems networked through a router. Internet comes from Hughes to WAN input on router and the two systems are hard wired, cat 5 patch to ports on router. The router is also wireless and connects to laptop.

I can access Computer "A" from Computer "B". Computer B can also access the laptop. The laptop can access "B' as well but not "A". I can ping from CMD to dani system fine. All are on WORKGROUP and all have Windows firewall on with file sharing accepted.

It would appear that the problem is within the "dani" system, Computer "A". All shares are set on each system. I have tried what I know to find the problem looking for a permission problem. None of the systems have a login or password set.

Any help would be appreciated.

ERROR below.

\\dani is not available. You might not have permission to use this network

resource, Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access

permission. Access is denied.

Re: Network problem

Try this procedure..

Right click My Nework places, click proporties
Right click your network connection, click proporties
Check you have file and printer sharing installed in the list of protocols etc. (on all PCs)

Manually share a folder on each computer (right click a folder > sharing and security .....)

Run the network setup wizard, maybe create a setup disk and run in each PC to be sure.

Sometimes XP needs a kick (as described above) to get the network working right
