Can only connect to internet at work - nowhere else!
I have a wired internet connection at my place of work (where I live during the week), this works perfectly, however, after connecting for the first time i then became unable to connect to the internet any other way - i think my computer keeps looking for that to connect to. When I've run an internet check the following message comes up:
windows cannot tonnect to the internet using HTTP, HTTPS or FTP. this is probably caused by firewall settings on this computer.
Check firewall settings for the HTTPport(80), hTTPSport(443) and FTport(21).
the thing is I've disabled any firewall that i installed in order to give myself security, is it possible that my work internet put a firewall in, and if so how do i remove it (I leave this place of work in a fortnight and really want to be able to use the internet!).
Thank you
