Wireless router broadcasts to signals
My wireless internet connection is broadcasting to different signals for connection both using the same shared key for wpa and wpa2.a while back something went wrong with my router it wouldnt broadcast wireless singal i went it into the router and fixed everything well that was about 4 days ago today i reconnect to the internet and i notice to signals both ssids had the same name accept one had 2 at the end of the wireless name the encryption used is different one is wpa the other is wpa2 i thought maybe some one was copying my name so i disconnected the router from the internet and left the router on and tried access internet on each signal both of them didnt have internet access but i could access the router so i dunno if i missed somthing up but everything on the routers config page is fine and both signals are coming from my router but whats weird is how its using to different encryption methods on the same router????
