IEEE Ratifies 802.11n, Wireless LAN Specification to Provide Significantly Improved Data Throughput and Range | Reuters

Now we can expect and DEMAND that 11n adapters and APs from Linksys, D-Link, NetGear, ABC and XYZ are 100% compatible with each other - it should not be necessary for all 11n devices on a given network be from the same maker.

In theory, anyway.
