Angry No CD Letter
My bios finds cd but no letter in explorer or hardwire manager.
checked jumpers, changed IDE cable and changed CD drive - no luck.

ANY HELP PLEASE ??

What OS?

Can you post you config.sys file that has something like:

Also the exact details of the drive and any FCC ID number

[CD]
device=himem.sys /testmemff
device=atapimgr.sys
device=sr_aspi.sys /D:mscd001

Thanks for answer - could'nt find info you asked for ( I'm a novice ), so I formatted and installed windows 2000 instead of ME. After some small issues, I managed to get it all working.
