E Drive Is Missing !!

hey guys!!

i recently lost ma E: drive (CD/DVD Drive)!! i dont know how it happened but its gone. ive opened up my tower and checked the wires if they are all connected securely and they are. i dunno how i lost it but its lost and i need it back becuase i need to burn some stuff onto cd and thats the destination drive for burning!! please help me ?!

dont know what operating system you are using but try the following please

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click TweakUI.
3. On the My Computer tab, click to select the check boxes of the drives that are currently hidden.
4. Click Close, and then restart your computer.

if you need to download tweakui goto the following link and download which ever version is suitable to your system

im on XP Home Edition. I havent got TweatUI...but ill get it from the link...lol

it was alredy checked so i unchecked it then checked it again. neva worked. its got a red question mark on it...

have you done any major modifications recently i.e software or hardware installs
