Help Psx To Usb Game Adapter!

I purchased a device called a PSX to USB game adapter from radioshack which connects a Sony Playsation controller to a USB port. The device came with a setup floppy disk, but I dont have a floppy drive on my laptop. I went to the radioshack support website and downloaded the setup file for my game adapter. When I setup the device windows xp didn't even detected it, but I know its installed because I went to the properties for the device and everything worked, I tested the controllers vibration effect and it worked. I used the controller on every game I have which supports a game controller and it works well but there is no vibration effect on any of the games! I dont think the device is broken because I know someone with the same issue. What should I do?

Are you sure that the games are Force Feedback compatible? That's the standard that is used to give the vibrations.

You might need to update your version of DirectX. I believe the latest is version 9. You can get it from Microsoft's web site at http://www.microsoft.com/directx

Where can I find the setup file on Radio Shack? I have a laptop also and I'm not able to install the setup for this game adapter.
