Transferring MP3s to 2nd hard drive

Hello,
I have recently transerred my entire MP3 collection to a second internal harddrive via copy/paste. The problem is when attempting to play them back they all sound choppy. Any ideas what the problem may be? I was hoping to remove the MP3s from my primary hard drive to free up some space if the transfer was successful. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Transferring MP3s to 2nd hard drive

If you used COPY/Paste in lieu of CUT/Paste, and the original files are still on the first hard disk, then try the same with smaller blocks during the copy process. ie; don't grab more than a couple hundred MB in a chunk. Windows has a hard time with large copying.
