Re: Pls Help!! Computer Reboots
The only advice I have would be to check through this thread:
Critical BSOD errors!
I know it's a lot of reading but you can see the steps I had to take and what finally solved my crash problems. Good luck.

Re: Pls Help!! Computer Reboots
Thanks Captain Mazda for a quick reply..was checking the post since morn.....thanks for advise too.gone thru the thread..it's a lot of info, going over my head was looking for few tests which i can run on my comp or otherwise have to give the comp for hardware diagnostics to a pro.
If you know of a few simple tests to run to narrow down the prob will be grateful.
Thanks

Re: Pls Help!! Computer Reboots
Since you've already replaced the power supply, this won't cost anything. Download and run MemTest86. This should help eliminate the memory as a possible cause of the problem.
Use the downloaded file to create a bootdisk on one of your floppies. When complete, you won't see any files on the floppy, but they are there. Just boot the machine with this floppy and run it as long as you can afford to. If there are errors, run it on one memory "stick" at a time to narrow down the possibilities. (ie; Remove all but one stick.) You may have to set your bios boot device sequence to boot from the floppy drive first.

Re: Pls Help!! Computer Reboots
HI
1 Quick Question...have u seen the motherboard configuration above..is it compatible with my processor,as this comp of mine is 2 years old and since day 1 its plagued with this same problem.I was in hostel during all this time and comp was at home so never got a chance to get it repaired
Wheen i ran hardware test on PC WIZARD2006, it gives motherboard manufacturer as UNSPECIFIED.
I don't know whether it's a source of trouble.
Pls let me know
Thanks

Re: Pls Help!! Computer Reboots
I haven't been able to find much yet on that motherboard other than it appears to be an Asrock.
Download, install, and run Everest Home Edition on this machine. (Clean FreeWare)
See if it reports any further info for the motherboard.
