Computer freezes

I dont know why but my computer freezes i would beleive it is durring the post test and i want to fix it because i just barley built this computer yesterday and i really want to use it.

have you installed everything securely and made sure every part works ok (ram, videocard etc.)?

it shows ram, it shows cpu, but in the post should it show video card?
if so it must be the video card that is causeing my problem, maybe ill try find a different one to use.

some do, like my current geforce2 mx400 which shows it before the post, but some dont like my ati 9200
