Exclamation Computer crash need help

I was playing battlefield 2 after i recently reformated and added a hard drive and a sound card. it then shut down when my game got done loading. i had to shut off my power strip for about ten seconds and then it would start up. after it happened twice my game would work fine. then today i start it up and it asked for my windows XP regrestration code then one of the hard drives starts clicking so i shut it down. i then did the regrestration code and it worked fine except my hard drive didn't stop clicking. how can i fix this?

Re: Computer crash need help

Well i did the activation code and then checked the hard drive for loose connections. i reainstalled the drivers for my sound card and now everything works fine except the hard drive still clicks once in a while. i got software to check the hard drive and it says its working normally so i might just ignore the clicking. hehe

Re: Computer crash need help

is the drive the main one with the O/S on?

if it's making noises and you can't determine it's age it may be wearing out
