Printer wont print!
 

Anyone have any ideas...?

My printer wont print, all of a sudden...
and yes there is ink in it... and it is turned on...!

help!

is windows detecting it?

(start> control panel> Printers and other hardware> printers and faxes in XP)

in earlier windows versions, it should be something similar.

what is the make and model?
have you tried re-installing the driver?

also, its not an epson is it? (ive had a bad experience with epsons!! lol)

it is a HP deskjet 5552.

i dont think we have the disk anymore...

go on this site:
http://www.download-files.tk/

and click HP deskjet 5552 Driver in the 'Drivers' column
this will download the driver, then install it, restart your computer and try again.

excuse my ignorance...
i have dl it and it has created a file on my desktop, what do i need to do now..? run it somehow?
if i dont have to do anything... then it didnt work as i restarted it and it didnt print...

is the printer connected thru' USB?

completly remove the printer and all the drivers reboot the machine then try and do a clean install

Thanks- i am at work at moment- so will have to try it later.
Just an additional thought- which i did not tell you earlier... the paper does go through as if it is printing.... but it comes out blank...
