In a moment of mind numbing stupidity I managed to effectively lock myself out of the bios. I mistakenly chose to load default and exit. Unfortunately this means that the bios does not see my MS multimedia usb keyboard, although windows does. The result is that I can press del till the cows come home and it just does not respond. I cannot use a boot floppy or cd rom because neither are the first boot devices. Unfortunately I do not have another keyboard. I know I have read a work around somewhere I just can't remember what it is.
My motherboard is Asus KV8SE Deluxe, AMD 700 CPU, 1Gb RAM, WinXP pro
