Problems with Ge Force 6200

I've recently installed a new 6200 on my machine and everything appears to be workng normally, except when i try to play a video in media player or any other player my machine goes on an extreme go slow (or even locks up).

Any help would be fantastic.

Do you have the latest available version of Microsoft DirectX installed? That will give you updated drivers for playing media content, which I've seen resolve similar problems before.

You can get DirectX from http://www.microsoft.com/DirectX
