Disc drive not detecting disc

Hey, i am a gamer and recently, i have not been able to launch a game.

I have tried uninstalling then installing so the drive can obviously detect the software, but when i try to launch i get a "insert the disc into the drive message".

Please help.

do other discs give you the same problem?

have you tried a lens cleaner?

has the disc got any scratches?
