HD details

A new HD was installed on my win98se, offline computer.
I want to know details of the dis such as the manufacturer and model, but neither Aida nor Everest programs don’t supply such info.
Is there any program which will guve more details about my hardware?

Re: HD details

You can open Device Manager by double-clicking on the System icon in Control Panel, and choosing the Device Manager tab. It is also accessible by right-clicking on My Computer, selecting Properties, and selecting the Device Manager tab.

Click + Disk Drives

It should be ID'd

Re: HD details

If the above detectors find generic I think your only hope is in going in and taking a look.

You might have to pull it from the slot. It will be labeled.

Perhaps as generic.
