Have had a problem when I either write on CD/DVD discs with perm markers, or use the stick on labels. The CD/DVD sometimes (Frequently) becomes unplayable. I hesitate using the lazer types as they are expensive.
Is it my playback modes in my CD/DVD computer player/recorders...or ias the another way.
"Cyberguys" advertises a "Casio" writer that prints directly on the discs. Is this the answer?
what make CDs, how fast are you burning, is it data as well as music, are you finalising the disc?

I am now using DVD stock. Recordings vary. Some Videos, mostly documents. The inability to retreive the documents hurts. Very important medical records, etc. Have been ill & become disabled so med records very important. Also scan & record documents. Recording on Data modes. Recorded at 4x which is max my pc will record at. Using Roxio. Have not finalized
it could be you're not finalyzing the disc, try that and see how it goes.
have you got all the data saved?
