Flash can't format
Hey
I have this Intergral 2GB flash drive...recently bought.
I format it and not it won't work. When I click on it, it says " please insert drive into F:"

It cant format again either. Its saying Capacity unknown and Windows was unable to complete format.


It was working fine before I did the format.

Help!

Oh nevermind~~ Sorry! I found this program online to format it.
and Its working now

I downloaded this HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool.

I used it to format my flash and it actually formatted and worked.

My flash wasn't from HP but the program still recognized my flash and worked.

Cool. Must be this:

HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool Software Informer: Latest version download, news and info about this Hewlett-Packard Company program. Windows based Drive Format Utility from HP for USB Flash Drives.

If you cannot format the USB drive by windows, you can try again in command line. Start > Run > "cmd",
input format X: /x
X is the drive letter

yes, i did try to format using DOS. It did not work.
Only the HP tool worked
