System locks up ???

Computer: Dell Precision 410 MT Intel P-II Work Station
Operating System: Windows XP Home edition Version 2002
Clock Speed: 400MHz
RAM: 256MB ECC SDRAM
Drive A: 3 1/2" 1.44MB
Drive C: 10GB SDSI
Drive D: 5 NEC CD-ROM

Problem is system lock up, which seems to be related to mouse movement and/or clicks?
When locked up, ctrl,alt,del not functional. Must hit the reset button to restart Windows?

Problem is intermittent !!!???

Anyone ??????????????

New problem?

If so try a System Restore to a point when all was well.

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

If that does not help look at your Event Viewer:

It would appear that I have yet to figure out just how to use this site ??? I didn't know my first question had been received. So I asked it the second time adding additional information...

Sorry about the upper case.... being an old (77yrs) RTTY operator it jsust seemed natural. All messages were transmitted in upper case....

I have tried system restore with out much luck. The event viewer is new to me.. I'll give that a shot.
