Ive got a problem on my computer that has started gradually but now has escalated.

When I power up my computer it makes a loud buzzing noise, this used to come on before now when the computer had been on for a while but now its on when i start up.

Any ideas what it might be and what diagostic procedure might be best to figure out what it is??

Re: Tower Noises

you need to clean all the fans in your computer and make sure all the screws are all tight. also make sure the processor fan is held tight against the processor. If you've had your processor fan a while and cleaning doesn't make the noise go away I would buy a new one as they are only a few pounds for a decent coolermaster one.
