Internet Explorer and YCOMP errors

I am unable to open my internet explorer. It messed up once and I was able to get it back up by goin to the add/ remove programs, but now microsoft internet explorer is not showing up in the add/ delete programs anymore. I am really green when it comes to stuff like this so I will need a lot of hand holding to get this thing up again. I am using my computer at work to get help and the computer with the problem is at home.
Thanks,
Sheila
P.S. The error message says it YCOMP.Dll causing the stack error?

Re: Internet Explorer and YCOMP errors

YComp.dll is related to Yahoo. Either the Yahoo! Companion or Yahoo! Messenger. I suggest you uninstall them and see if this helps you with your problem.
