hippypink Is a beginner here at D-A-L
One website not loading for my home computers only. Partial content.

about once a week, I can't get to a site I use (http://veracart.com). It seems that:
A. I can load part of the homepage; flash and text content only, no images, no stylesheets, and links do not work.
B. My neighbor and others can still get to it fine, and all other urelated websites work fine.
C. A reboot of my router seems to fix it
D. I have two computers and they both experience it. Computer#2 will not show the page at all, and computer#1 might show the partial content. I am doing a hard refresh of course.
E. This happens the same in IE and FF
F. Other sites hosted by that same company have issues too: http://verangomedia.com does not load up (different IP), neither does http://babymania.com (different IP), but http://groovyjeans.com does.
G. The problem magically resolved itself for both computers while I wrote this message, but ONLY for Veracart.com
H. I have noticed other possibly related problems recently when my computers where I cannot open https pages.
I. I believe this is a problem due to DNS in someway.
J. I can FTP and ping the sites just fine.

K. PARTIAL FIX: While writing this I think I found a fix for me, but still do not want to to happen with other people out there who shop on my site:

I use a public DNS server: 2.4.4.1, but I also do at work and do not have problems when I browse those sites from there. Changing my DNS to automatic (from my ISP) seemed to fix. restarting my network card, and flushing the DNS does NOT fix this.
