Adobe Reader Blank Page

I recently reinstalled Firefox and Adobe Reader (among other programs). Now when I click on a link to a pdf file I get a blank page. The file does not appear. If I right click and save the pdf file to my desktop I can open it and read the page.

I used to just click on the link and the pdf file would appear. I don't know how to trouble shoot this issue. I'm sure some setting needs to be adjusted.

Any ideas will be appreciated.
