Problem logging into eBay after deleting all contents of Temp Folder - Help Needed!

Can anyone please help?

..Was having problems with an installed program and the error message stated that it was due to 2 flies in the temp folder in documentsandsettings...Due to not being able to find the files I Deleted all contents of the HiddenTemp folder located in C:/Documentsand Settings/User/LocalSettings/Temp...

Now I cant log into "My eBay" on the ebay webpage

I can access and log into any other site but not ebay!...Its drving me crazy!

Its obvious I deleted something I shouldn't, but has this ever happened to anyone else?

How can i fix the problem so that I can log into the my ebay page once again?

Thanks for any answers in advance!

Re: Problem logging into eBay after deleting all contents of Temp Folder - Help Neede

Deleting the contents of the TEMP folder shouldn't affect any web sites. I do this quite regularly and I use Ebay almost every day. I'm assuming of course that you've tried that "fix all" solution of restarting your PC since then!

You might want to try pressing [SHIFT] + [F5] to reload the Ebay pages from the Internet rather than using your local cached copies of the web page(s). On that subject, it would also be worth going into Control Panel > Internet Options and deleting your Temporary Internet Files if that hasn't helped.

Let us know how you get on
