PC wont connect to this one site I need.

I use both Firefox and IE7 for web browsing on my pc, but for some strange reason, neither browsers will allow me to connect to one site that I need to use for online gaming.

Someone suggested that I did not have the latest Java update installed, but Ive installed/uninstalled java and it still wont conect.

Ive tried switching my firewall on/off etc incase that was the problem but its not helped.

I can use my partners laptop, running on the same router as my home pc, and she can connect up straight away, and it would appear that no one else that uses the site has connection problems, just me.

ok, are you running windows xp? ANd if you are, are there more than one user accounts. Are you the administrator of your computer? The administrator can control what sites you can see, and which ones you cannot.

Its been resolved, I had a trojan/virus
